1. Choose a Setup Area Near Your Router
Place your cameras and PoE switch temporarily near your Wi-Fi router.
This makes testing easier before final installation.
2. Insert an SD Card Into Each Camera (Optional but Recommended)
Before powering anything on, insert a microSD card into each camera.

Can be purchased from retailers like Amazon or most supermarkets

This allows the camera to store video locally as well as online

3. Test Everything Indoors First
Before mounting cameras outside or in final locations, plug everything in inside your property to make sure all cameras are working correctly.
4. Download the VideoLink App
Each person who wants access must:

Download VideoLink from the App Store or Google Play

Register their own account using their email address
5. Power the PoE Switch

Plug the PoE power supply (small black box) into a wall socket.

Connect it to your PoE switch.

6. Connect Cameras to the PoE Ports
Use the pre-made cables included in the box:

Plug each camera into a port labeled PoE or 1, 2, 3, 4...

The port lights will turn on — this means the cameras now have power

7. Connect the PoE Switch to Your Router
Use the short Ethernet cable:

Plug it into the LAN/LINK port on the PoE switch

Plug the other end into an Ethernet port on your router
This gets the cameras online.
8. Add Cameras to the VideoLink App

Open VideoLink → tap Add Device

Select LAN
-
Choose QR Code
-
Scan the QR code on the camera

Name the camera → tap Bind Device
Repeat for all cameras.
9. Install Cameras in Their Final Locations
After confirming all cameras work:

Mount them where desired
-
Adjust PTZ movement, angles, and other settings in the app

10. Share Cameras With Other Users
Each person must have a VideoLink account.
To share:

Open the app → go to the camera you want to share

Tap Share
-
Enter the other user’s email address
-
The camera will appear on their phone once accepted
